GUITAR CENTER DRUM-OFF - JANUARY 10, 2009
The 2008 Guitar Center Drum-off finals will be held Saturday, January 10 at the Music Box at Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Kenny will be among the judges along with Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, Tool's Danny Carey, No Doubt's Adrian Young, and Avenged Sevenfold's The Rev. Six candidates from a field of 5,000 have survived contests at hundreds of Guitar Center stores across the country to compete at the finals. Prizes include $25,000 cash, $20,000 in gear, custom-designed kits, endorsement deals, and a feature in Modern Drummer. The evening will be hosted by Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins, and will feature performances by Jason Bittner of Shadow's Fall, Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, and an exclusive collaboration by The Mars Volta's Thomas Pidgeon and Thomas Lang. Papa Roach will perform a headliner set.

JOHN FOGERTY CD and DVD DUE IN 2009
Two new John Fogerty releases are due out in 2009. Both feature Kenny on drums and include a new album, titled John Fogerty: The Return of The Blue Ridge Rangers, and the DVD John Fogerty: Comin' Down the Road. The DVD chronicles the concert at London's Royal Albert Hall, which took place earlier this year, as well as his life and career. An exclusive video preview can be seen on JohnFogerty.com.

WALTER TROUT CD NOMINDATED FOR BLUES MUSIC AWARD
Walter Trout’s critically acclaimed 2008 release The Outsider is nominated by The Blues Foundation and the Blues Music Awards for Rock Blues Album of the Year. The album features 13 Walter Trout originals with a backing band including Kenny along wih bassist Hutch Hutchinson, pianist Jon Clearly, and Skip Edwards. The 30th Blues Music Awards will be held May 7, 2009 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in downtown Memphis, TN.
