DECEMBER

IN THE STUDIO
Kenny records this month with Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) and Glenn Hughes in the UK. He'll also be recording with Krystal Meyers, Dark House Sweet, and Jessie Lang.

GRAMMY NOMINATED SONG
The Grammy nominees for "Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance" include the track "Breathe" by Melissa Etheridge, with Kenny on drums.

 

NOVEMBER

IN THE STUDIO

Kenny played on three #1 albums so far in 2004 - Ashlee Simpson's "Autobiography", Avril Lavigne's "Under My Skin", and in Japan, Koshi Inaba's "Peace of Mind". In addition, the album "Hilary Duff" debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart.

JOHN FOGERTY'S GRAMMY-WINNING BLUE MOON SWAMP RE-RELEASED WITH BONUS TRACKS
On November 9 John Fogerty's Blue Moon Swamp was re-released. Featuring Kenny on many of the songs, it includes two bonus tracks not on the original CD, which won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album for 1997.

 

OCTOBER

IN THE STUDIO

HILARY DUFF ALBUM AT #2 
Hilary Duff's new CD Hilary Duff debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart this week. Check out Kenny's playing on five songs on this CD.

JOHN FOGERTY CD 
Kenny plays on the new John Fogerty album Deja Vu (All Over Again) released Sept. 21st and in stores now. A recent article mentions Kenny along with the CD release.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE RELEASES "LUCKY LIVE" CD/DVD
"Lucky Live" the new CD/DVD from Melissa Etheridge was released on Sept. 28. It includes a live CD along with a DVD of a live concert from New York's Roseland Ballroom on her 2004 tour, featuring songs from her recently-released album "Lucky" as well as a never-before-released track "Good Girls and Boys". The DVD is also available separately. Kenny plays on both the CD and DVD and is heard on the voice-overs on the DVD concert footage.

AVRIL LAVIGNE SINGLE AT #1
Avril Lavigne's latest single "My Happy Ending" featuring Kenny on drums, is at #1 on the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream chart.

JOHN MELLENCAMP GREATEST HITS DOUBLE-CD RELEASED
John Mellencamp's latest CD Words & Music: John Mellencamp's Greatest Hits is released on Oct. 19th.

 


PAT GREEN CD RELEASED

INABA KOSHI CD #1 IN JAPAN
Kenny plays on the recently released solo CD by Inaba Koshi, the singer for one of Japan's top bands, the B'z. The single was released on Sept. 22 and is the #1 CD in Japan.

ASHLEE SIMPSON CD REBOUNDS TO #1
Kenny plays on 5 songs on Ashlee Simpson's new CD Autobiography. The album has just rebounded to #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It had previously been #1 for several weeks. Check out The Ashlee Simpson Show on MTV on Wednesday nights at 10:30 eastern.
