from Washington DC. The event will be attended by the President

On Friday, November 26 Kenny will perform with Melissa
Etheridge on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Kenny gives a drum clinic on November 28 at the Vancouver International Drum Festival sponsored by Tom Lee
Music. The festival will be broadcast live over the internet. Drum
enthusiasts can log in and listen to the show and email the performers
their questions and comments.

Excerpt from an interview
with Melissa Etheridge:
Q. Tell me about your band.
Melissa: Kenny Aronoff on drums.
Q. The worlds greatest drummer.
Melissa: He takes everything up another level. I cant imagine
not working with him. Hes the greatest and the coolest. John Shanks
on guitar. Mark Browne, my longtime bass player. Were also going
to bring Patrick Warren out to play keyboards. The record is thick,
and I want to make sure the live show is tight.

Kenny will be playing with Melissa Etheridge in a free concert
at the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco on August 19th! Kenny will
also be playing a show with Melissa Etheridge on Friday, August 20th at
the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. This show is for the Gavin Convention
which is a music industry/radio convention.
On August 1st, Kenny appeared on VH1's "Melissa Etheridge
- Behind the Music". Watch VH1 for this episode, which will be re-run
from time to time on VH1.
This month, Kenny is recording with Lenita Erickson in LA.
In addition, Kenny is recording tracks for a posthumous recording project
for Michael Hutchence.
Kenny will be playing two dates this month with Melissa
Etheridge. Check out Melissa's site - you can hear a portion of "Angels
Would Fall" - the first single due out by the end of August from
her new album "Breakdown", to be released on October 5th.

Wedding Bells
SHAWN BATTEN (Sara, Sunset Beach) is engaged to longtime beau Steve
Lukather, a member of the rock group Toto, the soap's spokesperson reports.
The couple were introduced by Melissa Etheridge's drummer, Kenny Aronoff.
Lukather proposed August 9th in L.A. much to Batten's delight. "I
was in an elated state of shock and made him repeat the question to
make sure I wasn't really dreaming!", the actress says. An October
2000 wedding is planned.

time to record with Gyan and Sister Moon.

Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, April 26th and also

and 8. January 22-24, Kenny will be recording Dave Navarro for
his solo record in Austin, TX

model will be available soon. There will be three versions, one of which
is a limited edition model. Kenny will be performing at the NAMM
show in LA on January 29 to promote the release of the drums.
