November, 1998

This month Kenny recorded with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Billy Corgan, for an upcoming Tony Iommi solo record.  He also did a week of recording with a new group, Lonesome Jones.

Kenny performed with The Smashing Pumpkins on the VH1 Fashion Awards and at Dodger Staduim on Oct. 31.

He also recorded a song with Rod Stewart which will be on the soundtrack for the movie "Patch Adams".


September, 1998

This month Kenny continues on the Smashing Pumpkin's Adore Tour. On September 26 he'll be performing with them on Saturday Night Live (season opener).

In the October issue of Modern Drummer magazine there's an article on Kenny on page 14 and a new Tama ad featuring Kenny on pages 22-23.

He also recorded with Amanda Marshall this month.


August, 1998

This month Kenny continued the Smashing Pumpkin's Adore Tour which finishes up in South America.

He also spent some time recording with bassists Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten in Nashville.


July, 1998

In keeping with the unconventional approach the Pumpkins have taken on the current tour, MuchMusic World Headquarters has been chosen as the exclusive Canadian location on an impressive international list of open-air, free of charge shows, including dates at Speilbudenplatz in Hamburg, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. June, 1998

Kenny continues on the Smashing Pumpkins Adore Tour this month, through Europe, Asia and then back to the west coast.


May, 1998

The Smashing Pumpkin Tour is now in full swing. Upcoming dates include stops in Europe, Asia and Russia.


April, 1998

Kenny will soon be joining The Smashing Pumpkins on their World Tour in support of the new album, Adore.

On April 1, Kenny performs with Richie Sambora on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

February, 1998

John Fogerty's Blue Moon Swamp, featuring Kenny on drums, won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album!

At the beginning of the month, Kenny recorded with a new artist, Mary Cutrifello in Los Angeles.

On Feb. 5 he played a show with Richie Sambora at the Gavin Convention Center in San Diego.

On Sunday, February 8, he played with John Fogerty at Ford's Theatre in Washington DC. President Clinton and Hillary Clinton attended the benefit concert which also featured several other performers. It will air on ABC-TV. Watch your local listings.

He also did a video shoot in Los Angeles with Richie Sambora, for the single "Hard Times Come Easy" from his new CD to be released this month.

Kenny started the new year recording in Nashville with Patty Griffin for her upcoming record. He's also currently working with Corey Hart and new Mercury recording artist Mary Cutrufello.

On January 16 & 17, Kenny appears at the Nashville Percussion Institute. And he gives a drum clinic on January 11 at Drum City in Wheatridge, CO.
